The girls and I moved in September....and somehow I managed to lose or possibly donated (without realizing it) at least 3 tubs of holiday decorations. If that wasn't depressing enough I had the wise Idea of selling my tree at my moving sale (if only i could have seen the future, and how tight money was going to be this holiday season).
I kept putting off buying a tree these past couple of weeks, because i couldnt get over how much a 7 ft tree costs these days.
Then I went to GoodWill and found this 7' tree brand new in the box waiting to go home with me....for 12.50, my kind of deal!
The tree is a bit smaller and I have probably 700-800 ornaments, so I have bowls and vases filled with ornaments (replacing the snowmen I lost)
I decided my own vintage baubles make pretty good decorations as well in the guest bath.
i LOVE your tree! And what a deal! your house looks sooo beautiful! Can you come decorate mine! Sorry about your missing ornies! I HATE when I do stuff like that! I put ALL mine that I made growing up in the attic in the same box as a candle! Not used to living in the desert heat, I didn't think it would be a problem. um...wrong! When I went to get them, they were like one big snowball..I mean candle ball! I cried!!!! Alot of them were ones I made in school as a child that my mom saved over the years for when I moved out. it was sad! anyways thanks for sharing your tree...and for your awesome blog for my daily inspiration (of life and crafts).
